The Story of Our Founder:
Ali Jawad , The Man Who Thought Loud, Broke the Rules, and Built a Digital Empire.
Born in Baghdad, Iraq, in 1981, Ali Jawad was just a quiet kid in an ordinary home, but with an imagination too big for any room. As a child, he was obsessed with LEGO, but never followed the instructions. He believed manuals were made to be ignored. He built freely, wildly, from imagination. The results? Always better than the original. Even back then, he knew normal wasn’t for him. He didn’t fit in at school. What others loved, he avoided. What fascinated him, no one else understood. He built his own inner world. And lived there thinking, questioning, imagining.
That deep inner voice, the one that whispered “You’re different. You’ll change the world” only grew louder with age.
He started working at 15. Launched his first business as a university student. Graduated in 2004. Moved to UAE in 2005. Life changed fast but that voice never faded. For years, he worked hard, sharpened his skills, gained experience. But something was still missing.
Then Came the Day That Changed Everything June 26, 2014.
A war broke out in Iraq, but something else was born that day: TLTD.
What started as a simple Facebook page to vent and think out loud became something no one (not even Ali) expected. It was the rebirth of a man who finally embraced his voice. It was the awakening of a creator who stopped being afraid to share his truth. It was the beginning of what would soon become the first 100% online company in the world. With zero startup cost, zero operations cost, and infinite purpose, Ali built TLTD (Think Loud, Think Different) not just as a company, but as a living system. A global platform built on ideas, imagination, and impact. A home for people who don’t fit in. For rule-breakers, system-builders, bold-thinkers.
